GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE – MILOS EVENTS

Article 1 – Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) apply to all services offered by Milos Events, including the organization, coordination, planning, and design of private and professional events.
The signing of the quotation constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these GTC.

Article 2 – Booking
Booking is confirmed upon:
-
Signature of the quotation;
-
Payment of the first deposit.
Any modifications must be approved in writing by Milos Events.
​
Article 3 – Pricing and Validity
Prices are indicated on the quotation and are valid for 30 days.
Prices may vary in case of additional requests, added suppliers, or special constraints.
​
Article 4 – Payment (3 Installments)
Payment is made in 3 installments:
-
30% upon signing (reservation)
-
40% during preparation
-
30% no later than 30 days before the event
​
Late Payment Penalties
Any late payment automatically incurs:
-
late payment interest at the legal rate plus surcharge,
-
a fixed fee for collection costs,
-
immediate payment of all outstanding amounts.
​
Non-Payment
If payment is not made after formal notice, Milos Events may suspend the service or terminate the contract without refund of deposits.
​
Article 5 – Nature of Commitment: Obligation of Means
Milos Events has an obligation of means: all efforts will be made to ensure high-quality service, but certain elements are beyond the organizer’s control (suppliers, weather, venue, third parties, etc.).
​
Article 6 – Client Obligations
The Client agrees to:
-
Provide accurate information;
-
Respect payment deadlines;
-
Respect suppliers, schedules, and safety instructions;
-
Have liability insurance to cover damages caused by themselves or their guests.
​
Waiver of Recourse
The Client waives any recourse against Milos Events in case of:
-
damage caused by a third party;
-
failure or delay of an external supplier;
-
incidents involving guests, the venue, or external circumstances.
​
Article 6 bis – Accommodation & Meals
The Client agrees to provide Milos Events with:
-
A hot meal on the day of the event.
-
Accommodation nearby when:
-
the event ends after 11 p.m. or the distance or travel conditions require it.
-
If accommodation is not provided directly, Milos Events may arrange lodging, billed to the Client.

Article 7 – Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Replacement
7.1 Cancellation by the Client
The deposit remains with Milos Events.
No refund will be issued.

7.2 Cancellation by Milos Events
In case of force majeure, any unused amounts will be refunded.
​
7.3 Replacement in Case of Inability
In case of pregnancy, childbirth, illness, accident, or incapacity, Milos Events may be replaced by a qualified professional to ensure continuity of service.
No additional cost may be requested, and the GTC remain unchanged.

Article 8 – Image Rights
Unless opposed in writing, Milos Events may use photos/videos created by suppliers or provided by the Client for website, social media, and communication purposes.
Use is limited and respectful.
Maximum duration: 10 years.

Article 9 – Liability
Milos Events cannot be held responsible for:
-
theft, loss, or damage caused by third parties;
-
absence or failure of suppliers chosen by the Client;
-
delays, incidents, weather, or factors beyond its control.
The Client remains responsible for the conduct of their guests.
​
Article 10 – Post-Service Complaints
Any complaint must be submitted in writing within 8 days following the event.
After this period, the service is deemed accepted without reservation.
​
Article 11 – Document Retention
Milos Events retains:
-
Files, schedules, and roadmaps: 12 months
-
Administrative correspondence: 36 months
After this period, documents may be deleted without notice.
​
Article 12 – Personal Data
Data collected are strictly necessary: name, contacts, and event information.
GDPR compliant.
Right of access upon request.
​
Article 13 – Intellectual Property
Materials created by Milos Events (design, planning, scenography, documents, etc.) remain its intellectual property.
Article 14 – Amendment of GTC
Milos Events may amend the GTC at any time.
The applicable terms are those in effect at the date of signing the quotation.
Article 15 – Force Majeure
Neither party can be held responsible for unpredictable and external events (weather, strikes, legal restrictions, accident, illness, etc.).

Article 16 – Governing Law and Competent Courts
French law applies.
In case of dispute, the parties will seek an amicable solution before taking legal action.
If necessary, the courts of the registered office of Milos Events have jurisdiction.
